Â There are many intriguing details in this article, but the one that caught my eye the most was: Did you know that Delann was intended to be a male character who transformed into a female when s/he took on the human characteristics in the metamorphosis? Â The reason why it didn’t happen is because they couldn’t make the voice modulation work right . . . that would have been cool, Delann might have been the world’s first transgendered hero on TV!
