A friend of mine posted this video earlier today, and I find it just fascinating. The way language evolves is really interesting, and hearing the way it once sounded is unique. Years ago, I saw Timon of Athens in the Globe, performed in OP (original pronunciation), and it was a magical sort of thing. It’s neat to hear talk of how and why it works so well:
