My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is really the only useful book available on the process of tea leaf reading. When you read it, do keep in mind that it was written in the 1920s, and take everything there with a grain of salt. However, it explains in detail how a teacup is to be read (even though I learned a slightly different method) and the explanations and reference guide is quite simply laid out. I suppose that’s why it has survived for so long! Good books usually do.

However, it *was* written in the 1920s, and as such, much of its information is outdated. For example, who gets paper letters anymore unless it’s from the government or the hydro company? And how many of us have family or friends in the military? (Some, but not a lot; not in Canada, anyway.)

Many copies of this are available as it is now public domain. I am fortunate enough to have been gifted a copy of the original publication, still in excellent condition. Worth having on the shelf for any psychic or tea hobbyist
